Streaks: training on consecutive days
By CARGA · Updated
A streak is the count of consecutive days you train. Log a session today and it grows. Let a day pass without training and the count starts over at your next session. Reminders are optional, and the weekly recap shows where your streak stands.
What is a streak?
It's a number: how many days in a row you've trained. Train Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and your streak is at three. It counts days, not sessions: two sessions on the same day count as one day.
In CARGA, any logged session counts toward the streak.
How does a streak grow?
One day at a time. Each day with at least one logged session adds one. Length and load don't matter: a short session counts the same.
What if I miss a day?
A missed day is a missed day. The count restarts, and your next session begins a new streak. There's no way to pause it.
That's not a punishment, it's just the count. A streak that restarts doesn't erase the sessions you've done: they stay in your journey, your challenges and your league.
Can I get reminders?
Yes, and they're optional. Turn them on if you want a nudge before the day runs out, and off whenever you like.
Where do I see my streak?
In the app, and in the weekly recap: sessions, minutes, records, whether you moved up or down in the league, and where your streak stands.
Does a streak mean I have to train every day?
No. It just counts what you did. Rest is part of training, and nobody has to train every day for CARGA to make sense: the league and challenges don't depend on your streak. Train at your own pace, and with pain or an injury, see a health professional.
Questions and answers
Can I pause my streak?
No. Let a day pass without training and the count starts over.
Does my streak score points in the league?
No. The league scores sessions and minutes. The streak is a separate count, but the same logged session feeds both.
